This will be a short post simply explaining some more general skills at hand, mainly including other software skills, such as Photoshop and InDesign. Although these are not directly relevant to the job being pursued, extra skills, in anything really, can make a candidate more desirable as an employee.
Photoshop and InDesign:
Below are a series of images of magazine pages made for coursework in the past:
These two pictures are a teaser poster and magazine front cover designed for the 'Teaser Trailer' embedded in the last post. The aim was obviously to try and make them all work together as one product, as they are all supposed to be advertising the same film.
A front cover, contents page and double page spread of a music magazine created for media studies A-level coursework. Again, these were meant to be designed to fit together, as if from the same magazine.
Dreamweaver - website design:
Some more images follow here to show the finished designs of webpages created for university work and for practise in the future.
These are the designs for my personal website, created in a module during university. The functions of the website were very good, however the styling and position of things could do with some work. There was another chance though, as doing an Add+Vantage module in website design too taught me some new skills as well as giving another chance to design a website. This time though, it was designed for the company created for the Music Industry Practise module. The pictures below show the website for Zone Audio, a company created by myself and Shelley Peters:
